LED Lights for Motorcycles

The visibility of motorcycles is an issue.  After an accident the offending driver all too often  says "I just did not see the motorcycle!"  This might help.

I have had a lot of interesting questions from many motorcyclists concerning the law on LED (light emitting diode) lighting for motorcycles.  I have done some research and there does not appear to be any law in Utah against the use of LED lighting on motorcycles.  I think that as long as the LED are not flashing and are not red and / or blue (imitating emergency vehicles) I think they would be legal.  Clutch and chrome commented on a recent law passed in Maryland that specifically addresses the use of LED for motorcycles.

You can buy LED lights at many locations but a large selection is available at Wicked Illuzionz

I admit just yesterday I nearly ran a motorcycler off the raod. I pride myself on being very aware of motorcyclists and their position in regards to mine. I even checked my blind spot and mirrors, sometimes you just totally miss them. So sorry to who ever that was and thanks for being so responsive and aware and saving both of us from an accident!
