Big Cottonwood Canyon Motorcycle Accident Sends Rider to Hospital in Critical Condition

Posted by George Tait | Mar 07, 2016 | 0 Comments

A motorcycle crash in Big Cottonwood Canyon occurred today sending the rider to hospital in critical condition. The driver of the vehicle was not hurt. Apparently the car was pulled over to the side of the road when the driver decided to make a u-turn to head back down the canyon. The vehicle driver did not see the motorcycle rider and the two crashed. The motorcycle rider was not wearing a helmet.

This is a terribly unfortunate accident that just plain did not have to happen. The driver of the vehicle is probably regretting their decision to make a u-turn in the road. The driver should have proceeded up the canyon to a parking area where they could have made the turn safely.

The motorcycle rider almost certainly was not at fault or at least can not be determined to be at fault from the scant evidence.

This is a case where an investigation has to be conducted while the evidence is fresh and memories accurate. A professional law firm with the experience and the know how to investigate is required.
