Grab a pencil and paper, a cold drink and set yourself down to take notes on all the cool motorcycle stuff to do in May. First off is a free event sponsored in part by Utah Bike Law. This will be a great opportunity to improve your riding skills.
May is Motorcycle Awareness Month in Utah, and Salt Lake Community College is kicking things off with this free event at the training center at the Taylorsville Redwood Campus. 4600 S. Redwood Road. Riders and non-riders alike are invited to learn basic, intermediate and advanced rider techniques and how to be motorcycle aware.
Gear vendors, Food and drinks available and Police Motor Squad Demos.
Planning to ride at the event?
Bring long sleeves, over the ankle footwear, eye protection, gloves and long pants.
Also on May 3rd is the Stop Bullying and Teen Suicide Prevention Ride at Jeff's Hot Rod Diner, 175 E. Main Street, Santaquin, Ut. Registration starts at 9:00 a.m. KSU at 11:00 a.m. The ride will be from Santaquin to Eureka, Dog Valley, Nephi, Mona, Goshen Canyon and back to Hot Rod Diner. $15 per rider and $10 for passengers. Raffle will include among other items a gun safe from Liberty Safe. T-shirts $10 and wristbands $2.50. Also Hot Rod Diner will provide bottled water to riders and passengers and there is a rumor of free pizza. Hot Rod Diner will also give a 20% discount on breakfast or lunch to all participants.
May 24th. FPR, 5th Annual Fallen Patriot Ride! Templar Knights MC puts on a spectacular ride. This ride is getting bigger each year with the proceeds going to the Folds of Honor Foundation to help families that have had servicemen killed or disabled in the line of duty08:00 – Registration @ Timp Harley

You want to just enjoy a group ride for free? Star Touring and Riding, Chapter 431, Provo Utah rides the second Saturday of each month. All riders and all makes of street legal bikes are welcome. STAR is a family type of group. Try them out. They meet at Escape Motorsports. 1480 N. State in Provo. 9:00 am.
