Rider Dies Blanding Utah

Posted by George Tait | Mar 21, 2016 | 0 Comments

A number of riders were riding west-bound on State Road 95 when some of the riders noticed that one of their members were missing. They retraced their routs and discovered Mr. Foulkes lying motionless on the side of the road at about 4:00 p.m. The road surface might have been wet and that might have contributed to the crash.

It appears that Foulkes veered off teh right side of the highway while making a left sweeping turn onthe road. Foulkes, from Phoenix, was reported to be wearing a helmet and was not speeding on his 1989 Honda Gold Wing.

This crash serves as a reminder that we all need to be careful of road conditions. One of the most trecherous road conditions is sand or gravel on the road – especially early in the season before our favorite routes have experienced a lot of vehicle traffic that tends to clear off the winter residue.
