Sturgis Bound 2015

Many brothers and sisters are already in Winter's embrace while here in Utah we are fortunate to still have riding opportunities which are also soon to end. Winter is a good time to plan that epic road trip for the next year. I already have made plans for mine.

I am a member of the New Order of the North and South Riding Club and we will converge on Sturgis, South Dakota the first week of August 2015. This will be the 75th annual rally in Sturgis. We will ride from all directions and states to meet our brothers and sisters for one hell of a party.

I and other members riding with me are planning an old school adventure run. This means we ride straight through without motels or sit down meals. Stops for gas will be brief and if fatigue gets to be a factor, I will stop and rest beside my bike.

Arriving at Sturgis brother Timber Rat has graciously been volunteered to provide us with camping. Talks of moonshine, lot's of shine have been made. I may or may not remember a roast pig being mentioned.

As I understand it, this arrangement is for club members and National invited guests. There is even a rumor that brother Hobeaux and I have been directed by Gator, National President to escort a club made up of old ladies on trikes to Sturgis.

This will be a run to remember and tell or not tell the grandkids about.

As you can see, this club is not for everyone. We just like to ride and have fun. If you belive in old school biker values and traditions, this may be the club you are looking for. We support vets, battered women and children and we believe in Brothers Before All Others.

If you would like to check us out and go for a ride with me I have one set up for Saturday, November 29th riding to Midway, Utah for lunch. Meet me at the Harmon's grocery and gas, 800 N. in Orem near the mouth of Provo Canyon at 10:30 a.m.. Hope to see you there. My wife and daughter are excited for this ride as it may be one of the last this year.

If you cannot make it Saturday but still want more info on who we are and what we are about, check out our website.

Love to see a bunch of us riding for the fun in Sturgis next year.
